charming stay near gorgeous park views and scenic landmarks

We truly enjoyed the fabulous dining room with excellent views up the valley, making each meal a delightful experience, and after exploring nearby Derwent Water, we loved retreating to our comfortable room that had everything we needed.

Beautifully decorated room, but the dining experience was disappointing and overpriced.

Perfect getaway vibes

Had an awesome stay! The staff were super friendly and really made it feel like home. Breakfast options were top-notch, especially the local produce. The views from our room were stunning, felt like a dream. A tiny hiccup was the noise from the nearby road, but it didn’t ruin our chill vibes at all!

the location was idlic and the staff were fantastic especially marilyn who was really attentive to all ur needs. we enjoyed brekkie every morning, it set us up for a day of walking. the garden suite was super comfy with a lovely view. also, the dinner menu was varied and had something for everyone!

the shower took a bit long to get warm and the bed was a lil hard for my liking.

Dinner was an absolute treat, with each course a culinary adventure! Stunning mountain views complemented our dining experience. Plus, the staff were genuinely friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable.

We faced a bit of a pickle with our main course being overcooked and loaded with salt. The service at breakfast was a touch abrupt, making us feel a tad unwelcome, which was a bummer for such a lovely spot.

My stay in the Deluxe Double or Twin Room was absolutely delightful! The breezy views down Borrowdale Valley to Castle Crag were simply stunning. Plus, the dining experience felt like a cozy dinner at home, complete with locally sourced ingredients beautifully prepared and served with a personal touch.

It was just a smart choice for a walk in the evening in Keswick with good value for cost. The view was like a painting, totally breathtaking.
